About Alia
I was raised in a family of English teachers and therefore find teaching and discussing English highly rewarding. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of the subject and passing on the skills I have learnt. I am comfortable speaking to/ engaging with children and teenagers and hope to provide lessons that cater to individual needs.

I focus my lessons on reading comprehension, analysis, essay writing, exam techniques, and revision strategies. The typical length of a lesson is an hour. I can also provide feedback, encouragement, and motivation to help students overcome any challenges or difficulties they may face. I received an 8 in English Literature and a 7 in English Language at GCSE, then studied English Literature at A Level, and later earned a First for my university dissertation in Music. My lessons are for students ranging from Primary school to GCSE. I have developed a variety of methods and resources to suit students' individual needs and learning styles so can be flexible.
