About Mia
I believe that a good teacher makes all the difference. A students concentration and retention, as well as success within a subject are strongly determined by teachers.
English is one of those subjects that is crucial to everyday life; furthering a students skill within language can change the trajectory of their academic life.
I also found great interest in books, poetry and the effect of these on our culture, so an interest in literature is my personal bias.
However reading is such an important skill, and if students find meaning in books it can have profound effects on their intellect.

For me context and simple explanations are very effective. A process of making information palatable for long term retention.
An hour lesson is the typical time, however i find students lose focus at around 25 minutes so i would introduce a 5 minute break within the hour for a refresh.
I passed gcse english literature grade 9 and language grade 9, since then i have tutored multiple students surrounding these topics.
My lessons are malleable to students of ages 15 and younger, so a primary and secondary school level. Students at any level are welcome to further their knowledge and skillset.
