About Bethany
I have a Bachelors degree in Marine Biology and I am finishing a second degree in Chemistry. I am top of my class in chemistry and have a 4.0 GPA. I currently work in environmental science and compliance full time. I have worked and volunteered in animal rescue/husbandry, conservation, research, and education.

I have a very personable and holistic approach to students. I try to probe the student for questions regarding underlying misunderstandings of topics. Once I know where dots aren't connected, I can begin to explain topics in a more approachable and easier to understand fashion. I try to help the student understand why things are the way they are, versus regurgitation of information that the student doesn't understand.
Every student is capable of learning anything! We just have to find out which way to present the information for optimum learning!
