Based in HACKNEY , I can travel using public transport.

The student Jessica showed me on her computer various Mathematics topics she wanted me to revise, clarify, e.g logarithms. She listened carefully to the explanations I gave . As her exams are very soon , the student asked me to set up another session , on the same day , same place but for 2 hours instead of 1 hour. Thank you so much . Mrs BABAD BSc - Mathematics Tutor

The Student was familiar with the topic, cubic graphs, transformation and sketching graphs.
It was a pleasure for me to teach the student .
The Student need a Tutor to make sure all questions covering MATHS AS topics are answered correctly.
This would apply to further Pure MATHS AS topics , as well as Mechanics and Statistics AS level topics.

This is because as I am a teacher I have seen how clearly and patiently she has explained difficult maths problems in easy steps to my daughter and checked her understanding by asking questions which has further reinforced her maths knowledge. Details

I usually set up sessions in the nearest local library , following student recommendations.
If it is difficult I agree to set up a session at the student's home .
For the first session , I appreciate it if the mother or responsible adult , will be
present.
A responsible adult , mother/sisters/friends should be there during the session , especially if the student is a boy and the session is at home and not in a public place.
I charge £20 per hour.

1) When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?
I am a Mathematics GCSE-AS/A level tutor. I have been tutoring for many years, more than
15 years.
2) Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).
I am teaching Maths GCSE, Higher and Foundation , MATHS AS level, Pure Maths, Mechanics and Statistics,
MATHS A level, Pure MATHS, Mechanics and Statistics. I also teach Maths Functional skills, 1 and 2.
I like to discuss with the students worksheets on all GCSE /A level topics and past exam papers, Edexcel, AQA board. If topics are complex , I usually have a step by step approach, breaking down the topics in several topics , make it easier to understand.
3) Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?
Yes, I had very good Mathematics teacher, devoted, serious , passionate about the subject they were teaching who did inspire me.
4) What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?
Patient , friendly, flexible, easy to be approached.
5) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.
As I am a Maths Tutor for many years, I thinks I can conclude : and from my students I have learn the most!
Thanks to my student , by providing me valuable work experience , I do not loose my skills.
One Maths book told another Maths book : I have got problems! Hopefully only Maths problems should we have and others problems, worry should disappeared!

I am very much passionate about MATHS A/AS level and MATHS GCSE. I understand the pressure students are facing at school whilst studying towards GCSE/A level and I am willing to alleviate this pressure , making MATHEMATICS pleasant to learn , understand within small time limit.
