About Emily
Hi, I’m Emily! I am currently a senior at the Rochester Institute of Technology, studying exercise science with a focus on prosthetics, and I plan to continue my education in the healthcare field at University of Hartford for a master's in Clinical Prosthetics and Orthotics. My academic path has given me a deep understanding of Anatomy & Physiology, Biology, and Precalculus, as well as the discipline and work ethic needed to succeed in challenging courses.
Through my experience as both a student and a mentor, I understand that these subjects can feel overwhelming at first. I pride myself on being able to break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps so students can build confidence and truly understand the material—not just memorize it.
In addition to academics, I balance a demanding schedule as a collegiate athlete, which has strengthened my time management, communication, and leadership skills. I bring that same level of professionalism and reliability into every tutoring session. I am patient, organized, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.
My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them develop confidence in their abilities and a stronger foundation for future success.
