About Waseela
Academic instructor with over 8 years of teaching undergraduate chemical engineering classes in a blended learning environment. Extensive experience in engineering education and curriculum design in order to create an active learning environment allowing for student reflection and facilitating independent, critical and creative thinking. Research interest focus on clean coal technology and sustainability of low cost pollution reduction processes. Teaching and learning practices have evaluated the epistemic diversity of the chemical engineering curriculum at an undergraduate level. Strong background in mathematics and chemistry.

I incorporate active learning and teaching methods that focuses on a student-centred learning environment. Learning content is introduced in short nested lectures together with examples and activities to create an active learning experience.
