About Ваня
I am a fourth-year Chemistry student at D. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia (MUCTR) and a biology teacher at the multidisciplinary school Sova. Before university, I studied at Lyceum No. 1303, one of Moscow's leading science schools, where I won prizes in the regional Biology Olympiads. I also gained research experience at the Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry, contributing to drug discovery projects, and presented my work at scientific conferences. I am currently working on a research project at the Institute of Higher Nervous Activity and Neurophysiology of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IHNA RAS), developing a computer vision model for automated tracking and analysis of Trichoplax locomotion.
I enjoy helping students understand biology through logic rather than memorisation and develop genuine scientific thinking and curiosity.
