About Madeline
I have experience with working with children as young as five and adults as old as 60. I have a BA in Studio Art from Illinois State University where I graduated Cum Laude in 2019. I can offer insight on a multitude of medias such as paint, print making, and drawing. I have worked for three years with an artist as an assistant on many large scale projects, one even was featured in the New York Times ("Mendota Gold") and I have also worked for a large Chicago fabrication company and painted for projects for companies such as Disney, Kilburn, Field of Screams, etc.

As stated before, I have worked with both young and old students before. My approach for younger children is to introduce them to the world of art and how amazing it can be. For teens and older students, I want to help them expand the part of art they are most interested in. I majored in Studio Art but I have my minor in Art History which I believe adds very valuable insight in to explaining how and why we make the art that we do.

Details
If you live more than 10 miles away, I will charge an extra fee of $15 added on top of the hourly rate to cover gas. So, for example, if I am booked for 3 hours and you live 20 miles away. It would be the $45 for the three hours plus and then $15 added on as a traveling fee, making your total $60. This applies to the discounted rates for higher hours as well.
