About Maksym
I am a mathematics tutor with over 15 years of teaching experience, specializing in Algebra and Geometry for students in grades 7–11.
Throughout my career, I have helped students improve their understanding of math, raise school grades, and successfully prepare for exams. I work with students of different levels — from those struggling with basics to those aiming for higher academic results.
My teaching approach is structured and patient. I focus on clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving, and identifying gaps in knowledge. Instead of memorization, I help students understand how and why mathematical methods work.
Each lesson is adapted to the student’s needs and pace. The goal is to build confidence, improve performance, and achieve measurable progress in school and exams.

At the beginning, I quickly assess the student’s understanding to identify gaps in knowledge and create a clear learning plan.
Lessons are focused on:
• understanding key concepts in Algebra and Geometry
• solving problems step by step
• improving school performance and test results
• preparing for exams and assessments
I explain topics in a clear, simple, and structured way so that students can truly understand the material instead of memorizing it. My goal is to make math less stressful and more logical.
Students are actively involved in solving problems during the lesson, and we practice until they feel confident working independently.

Lessons are conducted in Russian and adapted for Russian-speaking students studying in USA.
