About Imari
I am currently studying at a top London sixth form- with plans to apply to Oxford University to study mathematics. I have experience of being nominated to tutor maths for struggling peers being a high achieving student with 6 A-A* GCSE qualifications with an A* in maths- was able to contribute to a student having a grade E prediction and achieving a grade C.

My teaching method is to provide the student with the confidence they need to excel in their maths studies. This involves getting an in depth understanding of precisely what the student is struggling with and encouraging them to understand the topic where they will grow independence as well as an improved grade in maths- rather than simply teaching the student what they want. Where I strongly believe in the quote “Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” Along with this a range of practise using past papers to apply what has been taught and assess progress of the student.
