About Sloane
I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BSc in Applied Physics. My background is in plasma physics and fusion energy research, where I explored the behavior of plasma states and the principles behind clean energy solutions. I have worked extensively with magnetic confinement and inertial confinement techniques, studying how these methods can harness fusion energy safely and efficiently. I enjoy guiding students who are curious about energy solutions, space science, and high-energy physics. My approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into clear, understandable steps, connecting theory with practical applications. I emphasize hands-on understanding, allowing students to explore the dynamics of charged particles and the potential of plasma in real-world contexts. Through lessons, I aim to inspire curiosity and critical thinking, helping students see the relevance of physics in addressing global energy challenges. I believe mastering the fourth state of matter opens doors to a future powered by clean, limitless energy. Together, we explore the excitement of plasma physics and its transformative potential.

My teaching approach in Physics is systematic and clear, focusing on helping students understand concepts deeply. I break down complex ideas into simple steps, explaining macroscopic behaviors in a way that is easy to grasp. I cover core topics like thermodynamics, heat transfer, states of matter, gas laws, energy, and related subjects such as fluid mechanics and kinetic theory. Lessons are interactive, allowing students to connect theory with practical examples.
I am a hands-on experimentalist and enjoy using gadgets and demonstrations to make learning tangible. Students get consistent feedback to track their progress and strengthen weak areas. I emphasize understanding energy and its transformations in everyday phenomena. Assignments and exercises are designed to build confidence and mastery of fundamental principles.
I adapt lessons to each student’s pace, ensuring no one feels left behind. My goal is to make Physics approachable and enjoyable while preparing students for exams and real-world applications. Together, we build a strong foundation that supports academic success and curiosity in science.
