About Jessica
I love it when students get that Aha! moment. I simplify mathematical theories, so students grasp the reasoning and methods behind them. I am passionate and effective in ensuring that students walk out of the lesson with a greater understanding of maths. Patience and understanding is key.
My mission is to boost your confidence in mathematics, ensuring you grasp the concepts thoroughly. This way, you'll tackle school assignments with ease and excel in your exams.
I'm also available outside of class hours; if you're struggling with a challenging math question, I absolutely love math and will help!

Every student possesses a unique learning style, and I employ diverse methodologies to facilitate their understanding of mathematical concepts. My teaching involves the use of an iPad for projection, with notes being distributed after each lesson.
Lesson times range from 60 to 90 minutes for junior years. For senior years 90 minutes to 120 minutes. I am flexible, accommodating for missed lessons, or if you want to have more lessons around exam time.
I have been tutoring since 2017. I own Ivy Coaching, located in Campsie, and have tutored students for the past three years. Additionally, I am an accredited NSW Maths teacher and have served as a teacher and tutor at a prestigious tutoring company for three years.
I concentrate on the NSW High School Mathematics curriculum for Years 7-12. In the junior years, the emphasis is on establishing a solid foundation and boosting confidence in mathematics. In the senior years, I assist students with complex HSC concepts, ensuring they have the confidence to excel. Additionally, I conduct HSC crash courses for Trials and the HSC to prepare students for their exams.
I specialise in assisting students who find mathematics challenging. My goal is to make math seem easier and achievable. Several of the students I've tutored have improved their grades by 40%.
