Learning science should be about understanding concepts, not just memorising facts. My teaching approach is student-centred, where I adapt each lesson to suit the student's learning pace, strengths and areas that need improvement. I believe every student can excel in science when concepts are explained clearly using simple language, real-life examples and engaging activities.
During lessons, I begin by assessing the student's current understanding before introducing new concepts step by step. I encourage students to ask questions freely and guide them through problem-solving rather than simply giving answers. Depending on the student's level, I use diagrams, visual aids, interactive discussions, practice questions and exam-style exercises to strengthen both conceptual understanding and application skills. Regular reviews and short quizzes are also incorporated to help students retain what they have learned and build confidence.
