About Sarah
Hi, my dear future students
I don’t know you yet, but I think you’re talented and I know you’ll go on to do big things with your life. Some of you will want to be doctors, and some of you will want to work in law. Meanwhile, others will want to make a difference by becoming teachers or police officers. Of course, others of you still will accomplish many and more varied things besides what I’ve listed earlier. But no matter what it may be, your goals and ambitions have value.
Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
I know what it’s like to have a teacher who makes you feel like nothing you do is good enough. And it hurts, and it’s a terrible thing to go through. But I also know what it feels like to have your life changed by a teacher who encourages you and knows you can accomplish anything, because they see your potential. It’s one of the best feelings around.
I believe all of you have unique interests and gifts to share with the world, and I want to help you show everything you’ve got.
I haven’t met you yet, but I know you can do anything you put your mind to. I know you will have big ideas, and sometimes people will tell you not to bother with them, because what good will it do?
But I know that they’re wrong, that life is nothing without taking chances, believing in you that you can make the future a little or more brighter for all of us.
Regards from you future teacher, Sarah.
