About Jackie
Hi, my name is Jackie Piepkorn and I am a recent high school graduate. At my high school, I was salutatorian and had a 4.55 GPA. I will be attending UCSD this fall to study computer science. I love tutoring and am excited to help my students understand topics through helping them understand concepts in new ways and practicing sample questions. I have taken classes such as AP Calculus AB and BC, as well as Pre-calculus, Algebra 2, and Algebra I. I am prepared to tackle any courses related to AP Calculus, high school math, middle school math, and elementary school math. I have tutored several people since I began in 2019, and I can't wait to expand my tutoring business this summer!
I am an enthusiastic teacher who will be patient and meet all your tutoring needs. My rates are flexible, but I usually charge $25-30 an hour. I am also experienced in other subjects, such as biology, chemistry, english, spanish, and the SAT. I am also flexible with location; I am willing to drive up to around 15 miles and I offer online services as well. I am a Class of 2021 high school graduate who has experience with tutoring several people in various subjects. I took 12 AP classes in high school and I am experienced in many subjects, especially math. I have also been CPR-certified in the past.

I ask the student their background in the topic and typically ask them if they are familiar with sample questions on different topics. I want to understand how I can help the student and what they are struggling with. After I assess a student's understanding of the material, I ask them what their goals are for the topic and work from there.
