About Bhushan

Hello! My name is Bhushan Patel and I am a rising sophomore at Harvard college studying Applied Mathematics. I am looking to tutor people in both Math and English. For my math background, I took AP Calculus in high school and have taken Differential Equations, Multivariable Calculus, and Linear Algebra courses at Harvard. For my English experience, I took AP English (both Literature and Language & Composition) in high school, scored perfect scores on the English and Reading sections of the ACT, and have taken Expository Writing at Harvard. I decided to tutor because I found early on in college that I am a huge people person! So tutoring people and seeing them grow gives me immense satisfaction.

I currently study Applied Mathematics and I also have expereince tutoring friends and family throughout all 4 years of high school.

About the lesson

Because of my experience as a college mentor, I like to start my process by getting to know the student in-depth, including their classes, activities, interests, passions, goals, etc. I put effort into tailoring my teaching style to each student's individual needs.
