Find out what type of math they are working on. Then ensure the basics and fundamentals are their to solve their problems. Then go in depth on the particular topic they are tasked with.
I have worked with students from middle school, high school, and college.
I would advise my students to know what they need to learn and to always stop and ask questions as soon as their is something that they do not understand.
While this quarantine has been tough I have found a lot of pleasure spending quality time with my girlfriend and reading a ton of books.
