About Samhita

My name is Samhita Bandaru (18 years old). I am a straight A student and graduated high school with a 4.2+GPA. I am now pursuing a BS Neuroscience Degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. I got a 1530 on my SAT, a 1470 on PSAT (National Merit Commended Scholar), and 34 on ACT. I have taken AP Biology, AP Physics, AP Calculus BC, and performed excellently in those classes and AP exams. Over the years I have taken Algebra1 Honors, Geometry Honors, Algebra 2 Honors, PreCalculus Honors, and AP Calculus BC. I am also fluent in English, Spanish, Hindi, and Telugu. I live in Frisco, TX and am looking for remote work.

I am very interested in tutoring with your company.. Over the last 5 years, I have tutored SAT, PSAT, ACT (in all subjects), KG-PreCal Math, and Honors Biology.

I would love the opportunity to help those in need of extra attention. I have years of teaching experience with students of all ages both online and in person, and have been successful in engaging students and teaching them successfully. I am extremely passionate about instilling and spreading the knowledge I am lucky to have, to others, as it helps me create an impact on the lives of my students. I am confident that my experience and passion are the qualities you are looking for.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions. My number is (concealed information) and my email is (concealed information) Thank you so much for your time and consideration. Looking forward to hearing back from you!

I was approached by parents who wanted their child to get some extra attention on their academics, so in my free time, I began tutoring children, based on their needs.

I am highly familiar with College Board tests and AP Curriculum. I have been tutoring for over 5 years. I am pursuing a BS in Neuroscience currently, so I have gone through the entire AP and College Acceptance process.

I create a plan based on the students needs: ie. where they start and what goal they want to achieve. First, I go over the basics and revise, then I teach something new building on the basics. Then I give them challenging application problems which test their level of mastery on the topic. After the class, I give practice questions which are optional as I believe that the student knows best about their comfortability level. If they believe they need more practice they can do the questions and send me the answers and I will be more than willing to send them answers and explain to them their mistakes and questions. This way, the student willingly does the work in order to improve, rather than me forcing them to practice topics which they feel they have already mastered– leading them to develop a disliking for the subject or class.
