About Austin
If you're struggling with math, it's not because you don't have "the math gene" (there's no such thing). It's because you're going about learning math the wrong way. I train you to learn math the right way.
What do I mean by this? Take my short true or false quiz:
1. (T/F) The best way to get good at math is to do as many homework problems as possible.
2. (T/F) After reading a math problem, you should know exactly what steps you need to take to solve the problem, otherwise you don't know how to do it.
3. (T/F) It's impossible to know how to solve a certain "type" of math problem until someone teaches you how.
If you're like most people, you answered all three questions with "True". This is why you struggle with math.

Perfect! He helped me understand the underlying concept, not just how to get the answer, as well as what related problems I would likely encounter in the chapter.
Perfect! Austin was very knowledgeable and able to explain concepts in ways that my daughter could undersrand. I saw huge improvement in her understanding of Math and her grade improved dramatically. He was always on time and dependable. I would highly recommend Austin for tutoring.

Austin tutored my son for pre-calculus. He was very patient with my son and explained very well. I wish we would have found Austin at the beginning of the school year rather than the end. I would totally recommend Austin. He is great!
I had a great experience working with Austin. He's very knowledgable in a wide variety of mathematical fields and has a good, intuitive grasp of the material that allows him to explain how to effectively approach problems. I majored in math and needed help with several courses including multivariable calculus, real analysis, complex analysis, differential equations, and abstract algebra. He was always very patient with me and I learned a lot from working with him. I definitely recommend him.
