About Christina
Hi, everyone! My name is Christina Foster and I have been tutoring math for 5 years. I started off tutoring at Mathnasium in Sudbury, MA, and have since started my own math tutoring business. I have experience tutoring grades 1-12, but I specialize in grades 6-10. I thrive on getting my students to that "Eureka!" moment, in which all their hard work pays off in the form of understanding and confidence. My goal is to build autonomy in my students, so that they don't need me at all!

As a student who formerly struggled with Math, I understand what it's like to feel at a loss. I want to get my students to the same point that my teachers got me: understanding, confidence, and autonomy. I love working one-on-one with students so that they feel like their questions and concerns are being heard. Although I typically tutor for 1-2 hours, I am available as long as the student needs to get a grasp on the subject matter at hand.
I have been tutoring Math for 5 years–privately for almost 3. I originally worked at Mathnasium, where I became a Certified Mathematics Tutor. I also will be pursuing a Master's in Education with a specialization in Math in the Fall of 2022.
