About Tobi
I am an enthusiastic, friendly and hard-working tutor. I hold a first class degree in Physics with Theoretical Physics from Imperial College London. I am interested in teaching, tutoring and education research. I have tutored several students in the past in both Maths and Physics at various levels, and always focus on tailoring my tutoring style to best suit each individual student.

I like to speak with new students to understand their strengths and areas for improvement within a particular topic. I tend to work through example questions with students and then let them attempt questions on their own, letting them talk through what they are doing and help answer any questions they have to ensure they develop a better understanding and ability to solve problems. When explaining topics I place great importance on clarity and the precision of language, and also try to explain things in different ways to better reinforce key ideas.

His strong academic history and understanding of maths and physics made it really easy for us to progress in our tutoring sessions. He was very laid back and able to break down different elements of what we were learning so that I could get my head round areas I found challenging. He’s flexible in terms of panning our sessions and I’ve never had any issues with him. I’d definitely recommend and felt out tutoring sessions were valuable.
