About Hana
I hold an MA in English Language and Literature, with a strong academic foundation in literature and poetry. My passion for language and storytelling drew me to teaching, as I love helping students discover the same appreciation for words that shaped my own path.
I believe every student learns differently, so I focus on building a supportive, patient environment where questions are welcomed and progress is celebrated. Whether working with young learners building foundational skills or university students refining academic writing, my goal is to make English feel accessible, engaging, and enjoyable rather than intimidating.
Teaching is more than a profession for me, it's a way to share my love for literature while helping students grow in confidence and skill.

My teaching approach focuses on building strong language fundamentals while keeping lessons engaging and easy to follow. With an MA in English Language and Literature, I bring academic depth, along with strong expertise in literature and poetry, and a clear, structured teaching style that adapts to each student's level and pace.
For younger students (grades 1–12), I focus on grammar basics, vocabulary building, reading comprehension, and writing skills, using simple explanations and plenty of practice to build confidence step by step. For bachelor's degree students, I help strengthen academic writing, literary analysis, poetry interpretation, critical thinking, and communication skills needed for coursework and exams.
Lessons typically run 60 minutes and are tailored to the student's syllabus, goals, and current level, whether that means catching up on fundamentals or refining advanced skills.
I welcome students of all levels, from primary school through undergraduate studies, who want personalized, one-on-one support in English, literature, and poetry.
