About Merlynda
I graduated summa cum laude from Norwich Free Academy. And then I studied at the University of Arizona and Purdue University for a BA in Anthropology. My literature background and preference begins at Shakespeare and goes to contemporary works today.

My teaching approach is to open up the understanding of a comparative analysis and how it relates to the individual. Literature, and the allegories and motifs it presents, is all more understandable when it is in relation to the individual’s experience. Finding yourself in literature also makes it more personal and authentic. Once the comparative analysis is secure, writing the essay in a structured and intelligent way is guided. I encourage using the rules of rhetoric in establishing purpose and comprehension.
