About Rachel
With 6 years of experience teaching Mathematics, I have developed a strong understanding of how students learn differently and how personalized instruction can make challenging topics easier to understand. I work with learners from K–12 to first-year college, adapting my lessons to suit their individual needs.
My classes are designed to be interactive, organized, and focused on meaningful understanding. Rather than simply providing formulas or answers, I guide students through the reasoning behind each solution. I use examples, demonstrations, targeted exercises, and regular practice to help learners build confidence and independence.
I support students across a broad range of topics, including number operations, fractions, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, probability, functions, and problem-solving. Whether a student needs help catching up, improving grades, preparing for an examination, completing assignments, or mastering advanced concepts, I can structure lessons around their specific objectives.
I encourage students to participate actively and communicate whenever something is unclear. Understanding mistakes is an important part of my teaching process because it helps students recognize patterns and avoid repeating errors.
I aim to make Mathematics approachable and rewarding while developing strong analytical skills. I strive to help every learner progress at a comfortable pace and become more confident when facing unfamiliar mathematical problems.

I believe mathematics becomes much easier when students understand the reasoning behind each answer. My lessons are friendly, interactive, and adapted to the individual needs of learners from K–12 to first-year college.
Every session begins with identifying the topic the student wants to improve and reviewing any areas that may be causing difficulty. I then break complicated ideas into manageable sections and explain them using straightforward language, examples, diagrams, and guided practice.
Students are encouraged to participate actively rather than simply listen. We work through questions together, discuss different approaches, identify mistakes, and develop reliable methods for solving problems independently. Lessons can cover arithmetic, fractions, equations, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, functions, calculus, probability, statistics, and other academic mathematics.
I can also support students preparing for school assessments, entrance examinations, assignments, and college-level coursework. My teaching approach focuses on patience, encouragement, accuracy, and steady progress.
The aim is not only to help students complete their homework or prepare for an upcoming test, but also to develop logical thinking and problem-solving abilities that they can use throughout their academic journey.
