About Ivy
I hold an MSc in Mathematics and have spent over eight years teaching learners of all ages, helping them develop clarity, logical reasoning, and confidence. My teaching philosophy emphasizes understanding over memorization. I believe that when students grasp the why behind formulas, they develop a deeper appreciation for mathematics and can apply it creatively in diverse fields. My Maths lessons are designed to make abstract concepts intuitive and enjoyable. I begin by understanding each student’s baseline knowledge, building a customized learning plan that targets both weaknesses and strengths.
I use visual aids, real-world examples, and interactive exercises to teach topics from algebra, geometry, and trigonometry to advanced calculus and probability. This approach helps students see patterns, relationships, and the logic behind each concept.
