About Qasim
Hello! I’m Qasim, a current BDS Dentistry student with a massive passion for teaching. When I’m not studying clinical science, I’m channelling my inner academic coach to help secondary school students with Maths, Biology, and Geography!
Outside of academics, I am a huge sports fan. Whether I'm keeping up with football or watching the NBA, nothing beats the excitement of the game, especially watching athletes like Cristiano Ronaldo and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. What I love most about elite sports is the elite mindset: the discipline, consistency, and resilience it takes to succeed. I bring that exact high-performance mindset to my tutoring sessions.
I tracked through my own studies with straight B grades at A-Level (Chemistry, Maths, and Biology) and a sweeping set of top marks at GCSE (including five 8s and five 7s). Combined with years of experience training and mentoring others as a workplace supervisor, I have mastered the art of patience, clear communication, and adapting to whatever speed works best for you.

I use rapid, targeted questions to pinpoint a student’s specific knowledge gaps right from the start.
Active Recall & Breakdown: I simplify dense topics (like mathematical equations, biological pathways, or geographic systems) into clear, step-by-step logic, using active recall to secure long-term memory.
Exam Application: From day one, we practise using real past papers and official mark schemes so students learn exactly how to maximise their marks.
Lesson length is 60 Minutes (Standard): The optimal duration for secondary school pupils, structured to balance recall reviews, core concept mapping, and focused exam practice. (90-minute intensive revision sessions are available).
Background: Current BDS Dentistry student with an advanced scientific and analytical foundation.
Proven Track Record: Personally achieved straight B grades at A-Level (Chemistry, Maths, Biology) and top marks across 9 GCSE subjects, including Maths, Statistics, Triple Sciences, and Geography.
Instructional Experience: Extensive professional experience in onboarding, mentoring, and training individuals as a workplace supervisor, giving me the patience and communication tools to adapt to any learning speed.
Target Audience: Secondary School Students (Key Stage 3 & GCSE / Ages 11–16). I specialise in supporting students looking to boost their grades, conquer challenging Maths topics, or master the content-heavy curricula of Biology and Geography.
