About Anna
I’ve loved science since I was a child, and that passion has only grown stronger over the years. I’ve worked in the biotech industry, earned top grades and awards at university, and studied plant sciences in a summer school by Cambridge University. Along the way, I’ve written scientific papers and blog posts, as well as given fun, interactive lectures to children. These experiences taught me how to explain tricky topics in a way that’s clear, exciting, and easy to follow. With my lessons, you'll forget about homework or exam struggle. I’m not just here to teach facts - I want to share my enthusiasm for biology and help you feel confident and curious about the subject. With a mix of solid knowledge and a relaxed, supportive approach, I’ll make sure you feel encouraged every step of the way.

Our lessons will be tailored to what you need and what interests you most. I’ll explain tricky concepts using real examples, simple games, and friendly discussions so the material feels less intimidating. My experience working with children and teenagers has taught me how to keep lessons interactive and fun, even when the topic seems complicated.
Usually, we’ll start by quickly checking what you already understand and where you’re having trouble. From there, we’ll go step by step through new ideas, using visuals or everyday comparisons to make the science easier to grasp. I also like to include short exercises or quick questions—not as a test, but to make sure everything clicks and to build your confidence.
What I think makes me different as a tutor is that I don’t just go through the textbook—I try to make biology feel relevant and exciting. I know from my own studies how much easier it is to learn when the subject feels alive and connected to the real world.
My lessons are great for secondary school and early university students, whether you’re preparing for GCSEs or A-levels, working on coursework, or just want to deepen your understanding.
