About Imane
I am a project manager. I moved to the UK two years ago from Italy, since I was at high school I have been babysitting children and teenagers, helping them with their homework when ever they needed.
I find that it has to be the children initiative to read books and focus on their homeworks, with a little push at the beginning but after that with my methods it usually comes a prerogative for them. This avoids pointless discussions and makes the time spent more fun.
during my university’ years I was a tutor to high school kids and some classmates too, as I am quite aware of the concept “struggle”, and as I have always taught myself even the tricky concepts looking in YouTube or dummies book, I always wanted to avoid anybody else to feel that way again.

I base my approach in my personal experience, as I was a student too not long time ago. I do know that struggle is a common word when you are at school, so I try to break down the concepts in easy chunks that can metabolized from everybody. Is not know the subject that makes you a good teacher but how you explain it to others, and if they are following and understanding. I tend to quiz my student,this helps me to understand where are they and what I need to re-mark as concepts.
