I’m a recruiter by trade and a twist of fate. I tutor on my weekends for a charity and aim some day to leave the corporate world and teach English.
Outside of work I enjoy reading, catching up on the 50 television series I have started and seeing friends.

My approach depends on the student and will be tailored to the specific challenges that the student is facing.
In English literature I like to go beyond the text and encourage critical analysis using real life situations relating to the piece. This ensures that the text is not only understood but interpreted, analysed and evaluated from a modern, historical and critical perspective.
Along with the exam board guidelines I employ visual, audial and written aids to assist in my teaching.
Learning can bring out the most curious side of us- as teachers we just have to hit the right note to make things click.
