About Jane
I've taught English for 20 years, both in state schools and private schools. Yet English is my third degree! Out of school, not too sure what direction to take, I studied history, french then a politics Msc before going back to university to do English in my 30s. So in your lessons with me, we can range over the philosophy, history and psychology backgrounds to novels to give context to whatever we are working on together.
I love language and love encouraging you to enjoy it, play with it and grow in using it.
Most of all our lessons should be fun, making you think about the world and improve your skills, whether written or spoken.
