About Louis
Hello, I’m Louis! I’m from Leeds in the UK and I work as a data and machine learning analyst. I hold a first class honours degree in Mathematics and Statistics from a Russell Group university and I would love to share my knowledge and experience.
I have worked with a wide range of students from Key Stage 2 (age 5) all the way up to First Year undergraduate Mathematics.
I love teaching Mathematics, watching my students grow and develop (and hopefully fall in love with Mathematics).
In my spare time I enjoy all sports, in particular football and rugby. I also relax watching a film, reading or playing board games.

My approach to tutoring is centred around building confidence, understanding and enjoyment of Mathematics. I tailor each lesson to the individual student, adapting my teaching style to suit their needs, goals and learning pace. I aim to develop a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and challenging themselves. Working together to achieve their academic goals whilst growing their confidence.
