About Mary
I'm a freelance illustrator operating out of Philadelphia. Over the last year I have taught a dozen students Graphic Design and Life Drawing at my local community arts center. Working with me, my students have created beautiful works of art and learned so much about the programs we use for our digital work that they can even teach me little tricks I hadn't figured out myself!

My teaching method is Project based. I approach lessons by, after establishing the students experience level, introducing a prompt for a project. As we work through the project together I help my students problem solve as issues arise. I believe this interactive way of teaching helps students learn quicker and more effectively.
