About Janay
Hi, I’m a dedicated and caring educator with 3 years of classroom experience teaching 3rd grade in the New Britain school district. While I’m new to tutoring, I bring hands-on experience with the exact curriculum your child is working with—including math concepts, problem-solving strategies, and test prep. I understand how to break things down in ways kids can really understand, and I always keep things positive and encouraging. I’ve helped many students grow in confidence and overcome their struggles with math right in the classroom—and now I’m excited to offer that same support one-on-one.
