About Isobel
My name is Isobel - I am passionate about nurturing students to be their most confident and successful selves. I know what it’s like to desperately want to achieve certain grades or get into a specific university and I also know how to get you there! I graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2019 with a Master's degree in The History of Art. Since then I have gone on to study a Nutritional Therapy Qualification and now have my own practice, helping clients to feel their best. Prior to University, I completed the International Baccalaureate with 40 points and received the following grades at IGCSE level: English A*| Biology A*| Chemistry A*| Physics A| French A*| Spanish A*| Maths A| Drama A| History A*. I believe that all students are unique and when their own learning style is harnessed, they have the potential for great confidence and ability. Even the most reluctant students can show interest when taught in the right way!

I understand that sometimes learning new things can be challenging. Therefore, I ensure to create a kind, supportive and engaging teaching environment. I believe in harnessing each student's unique approach to learning to empower and enable them to engage in a topic. My lessons are highly organised, taught to up-to-date curriculums. I tutor clients in areas ranging from: - A Level - English Literature and Language - GCSE – English Literature and Language - Pre-GCSE (KS1, 2 and 3) – English (GCSE skills prep) - Undergraduate Degree Level – English - 11+ (English and Verbal Reasoning) - 13+ English/Scholarship Exam preparation - Adult learning - Creative Writing (all ages, for those seeking to improve, confidence building)
