About Raphael
I'm Raphael, 18, and I've just finished my A-levels at Westminster School with A* in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Economics, after ten grade 9s at GCSE. I'm on a gap year before starting a Mechanical Engineering degree in 2027, and I'm tutoring because I'm close enough to these exams to remember exactly what makes them hard.

I start by reviewing the student's school work and tests to find where marks are being lost, then build each lesson around that. Hints before answers, solutions written the way the mark scheme awards them, short personalised homework marked before we meet, a running list of recurring errors we clear together, and a note to parents after every session. I sat these exams this summer and got A* in all four.
