About Favour
I am a biology graduate from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and an aspiring medical student with a strong passion for helping others learn and grow. I have experience working in both academic and healthcare environments, which has strengthened my communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
I understand that science courses can feel overwhelming, especially when concepts start to build on each other. I have been in that position myself, which is why I focus on being patient, supportive, and clear in the way I explain things. My goal is not just to help students improve their grades, but to help them feel more confident and capable when approaching challenging material.
I take pride in creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and learn at their own pace.

My goal as a tutor is to help students truly understand the material, not just memorize it. I focus on breaking down complex biology and chemistry concepts into simple, clear steps so they actually make sense. I like to meet students where they are, whether they are struggling with the basics or trying to strengthen their understanding for exams.
A typical session starts with identifying what the student is finding difficult, then we work through examples together, and I guide them until they can explain the concept back in their own words. I also include practice questions to build confidence and reinforce what we learn.
As a biology graduate and aspiring medical student, I understand how challenging these subjects can be, and I bring a patient and supportive approach to every session. My lessons are best suited for high school and early college students who want to improve their understanding, grades, and confidence in science.
