About Nicole
I sat my GCSEs recently and achieved top grades across the board, so I know exactly what it takes to succeed and what the exams feel like from the student's side.
Subjects I teach: AQA English Literature and Language, Edexcel Maths, AQA Computer Science, Edexcel Religious Studies (Buddhism and Christianity), and AQA Chemistry

Are you aiming for 7s, 8s, and 9s in GCSE English Language and Literature? I can help you get there.
I achieved 9s myself, so I know exactly what examiners are looking for and how to show it on the page. Together we'll break down the mark schemes so you understand not just what to write, but why it earns marks.
In our lessons we'll cover:
Language: analysing fiction and non-fiction extracts, plus creative and transactional writing
Literature: Shakespeare, the 19th-century novel, your modern text and poetry (including unseen), with confident essay structure
Exam technique: planning, timing and answer structure, so you make the most of every minute
Feedback: personalised comments on your practice essays, with clear next steps to lift your grade
Lessons are tailored to your exam board (AQA), your current level, and your target grade, whether you're aiming to move from a 4 to a 6 or push from a 7 to a 9. I teach online, and my approach is patient and encouraging, and it creates brilliant results.
