About Aavni
I am a dedicated and approachable tutor who is passionate about making maths both accessible and enjoyable for all students. I believe that every student has the potential to excel, and with the right guidance, patience, and encouragement, even challenging topics can become understandable and engaging. I focus on building confidence as much as competence, helping students overcome any fear or frustration they may have with maths. By tailoring my teaching to each individual’s learning style, I aim to make every lesson rewarding and motivating, ensuring that students not only improve their grades but also develop a genuine appreciation for the subject. My ultimate goal is to support students in becoming independent learners who are confident in their abilities and excited to tackle new challenges.

I offer personalised, hour-long online lessons tailored to each student’s learning style and pace. My teaching methodology focuses on clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving, and building both confidence and exam technique. Lessons combine engaging, fun activities with structured practice, from simple concepts to more challenging problems, and include weekly homework, tests, and mock exams to track progress.
I have over 2 years of tutoring experience, during which more than 85% of my students achieved a grade 9 in their GCSE exams. I provide excellent communication, prompt support for questions, and ensure every student fully understands the material before moving on. My lessons are suitable for GCSE Maths students and 11+ students preparing for entrance exams. With a focus on results and enjoyment, I aim to make maths accessible, engaging, and rewarding for every student.
