The class is based on the following beliefs: Mathematics is a nickel-and-dime subject. As the old joke goes, a mathematician needs only a few sheets of paper, a pencil, an easy chair, and a wastebasket. I believe that a teacher of mathematics should use real-world examples to students to ignite a spark of practical interest in mathematics in them. Students should be made to realize that mathematics is everywhere…in you…in me…in the air …what we need is the eyes to see it in every creation of God. Mathematics is not just a subject, but it is a part of our lives. It should never be neglected. Mathematics can be our best friend if we use it frequently but it can be our worst enemy if we neglect it daily.
