I am Sakina, a high school math educator with over 17 years of international teaching experience and a Master of Education from the University of Ottawa. I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds and academic levels, and I understand that learning math can sometimes feel intimidating, but it does not have to be. My approach is patient, structured, and supportive. I don’t just teach to the test; I help students truly understand the “why” behind the numbers, so they gain lasting confidence and skills they can carry forward. Whether you are preparing for Grade 12 exams, brushing up on algebra, or navigating complex word problems, I am here to walk with you every step of the way. I specialize in helping students break down complex formulas into clear, manageable ideas, fostering not just accuracy but genuine comprehension.
