About Hanna
Hello I'm Hanna! I am currently a kindergarten teacher, and love mathematics. The twisty puzzle of numbers and symbols can be quite confusing, but I welcome the challenge and find a great amount of joy in explaining how these series of knots can be untied. As an instructor, I will be helpful and patient; we will work through difficult problems together, and I will assign problems that are just right for my students. Along with not giving up, my lessons are engaging and relate to the real world. Don't be afraid to get out of your seat and move!

I use a student centered teaching approach where students lead the lesson, and I work to engage students by using hands on or practical methods. A typical lesson will start with an engaging problem or activity that relates the the lessons theme, which is followed by doing practice problems together and then having the student do problems on their own. Finally we close the lesson on reflecting what we discussed and found interesting during the lesson. My engaging lessons and patience set me apart as a tutor I will preserver through difficult equations and problems with the student. My lessons can range from simple elementary math concepts to high school classes like algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
