About Matthew
I’m passionate about teaching and enjoy learning from my students just as much as they can learn from me! I’m an easygoing person myself and enjoy a good conversation that is collaborative and constructive in understanding the subject matter at hand! My particular focus in my studies is Poetry and Drama (Shakespeare), which is an area I understand causes the most difficulty among second-level students! So I’m here to help!!

I provide a highly tailored approach to Grinds, that adapts to the student and their way of learning, I’m passionate about English as a subject and understand how difficult poetry and Shakespeare can be! I enjoy breaking it down and making it as simple and easy to understand as possible!!

Matthew helped me to understand the basics of Poetry for my leaving cert, he broke it down for me in the easiest way possible for me to understand and then built me up to a point where I could understand more complex poetry. With his help, I achieved an H1 in English for my Leaving Cert, and I couldn't recommend him enough!!!!! 5 stars!
