About Mitchell
I'm a dedicated and adaptable teacher with over three years of experience in K-8 classrooms. I take pride in creating supportive, engaging learning environments where students feel seen, heard, and motivated to learn. With strengths in classroom management, individualized instruction, and creative lesson planning, I was frequently requested as a substitute teacher and have since grown into a confident and capable classroom leader. Currently I am a full-time 8th grade teacher. Using real-world examples, and making math fun instead of the grueling process that it is sometimes is incredibly important to tap into the potential of your student and their focus. With differentiated instruction and the use of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), any type of math that comes at your students we can get fixed up and squared away!
