About Charlie

I’m a 25 year old practising artist who loves making art through different mediums and techniques. I enjoy teaching new approaches to creating, having conversations and building confidence in others' ideas. I think art is a great way to express yourself and process the world around you, and I want to make it enjoyable and accessible to everyone, whatever their age or experience.

About the lesson

I’m a practising artist with a passion for exploring different materials and experimenting, offering flexible lessons that are guided by each person's interests and goals.

I have a BA in Fine Art Painting from Camberwell College of Arts and a Foundation Diploma from Central Saint Martins, as well as experience teaching children aged 10–12. I offer tailored art lessons for all ages and abilities, from GCSE and A-Level portfolio preparation to more informal creative sessions. We can explore life drawing, oils and acrylics, colour theory, ceramics, sculpture and more, depending on what interests you most!

I enjoy helping students discover new ways of working and find what inspires them. I combine practical demonstrations and guidance on technical skills, with plenty of time for students to explore materials and ideas independently.

Lessons typically last 1–2 hours, depending on the activity, the student's needs and what we'd like to achieve in the session.
