About Sai Sanjana
I'm a double degree engineer with hands-on teaching experience as a teaching assistant at the university level and as a tutor during high school. This combination gives me both deep subject knowledge and practical experience working with students of different ages and learning styles. My engineering background means I understand how to break down complex problems into manageable steps and explain difficult concepts in ways that actually make sense. I've seen firsthand what works and what doesn't when helping students grasp challenging material. As a TA, I learned how to identify where students get stuck and how to guide them toward solutions without just giving away answers. During high school, I discovered my passion for teaching by helping classmates understand material in a more relatable way than traditional textbooks often provide. I genuinely love teaching—it's one of the most rewarding things I do. There's nothing quite like the moment when a concept finally clicks for a student, or when they realize they can solve problems they thought were impossible. I'm patient, approachable, and excited about helping students succeed. My lessons are for all students K-12 and are tailored to each individual's learning styles, personality, and unique needs. I practice holistic teaching that goes beyond just academics—I focus on building confidence, critical thinking skills, and a genuine love for learning.
My teaching method centers on creating a supportive, engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I use a variety of techniques including visual aids, hands-on activities, real-world examples, and interactive discussions to ensure concepts truly resonate. Each lesson is carefully structured with clear objectives, but flexible enough to adapt to the student's pace and interests.
A typical lesson starts with reviewing what we covered last time and asking what challenges they're currently facing, then introducing new material through examples and practice. We work through problems together, gradually letting the student take the lead as they gain confidence. I end each session by making sure they understand the key concepts and know what to expect next time.
