I am a long-time lover of math who was blessed with great teachers. I hope I can help students feel better about learning in class and doing their homework. Ultimately, however, I wish I could inspire those I teach to keep being curious and to enjoy their education.

My teaching method typically follows an I Do, We Do, You Do method, where I show you one or a couple of different ways to solve, we solve together, then you try yourself with guidance. Typical lesson plans follow curriculum goals for a certain grade level, an assessment of what needs more work, and/or personal intrigue in certain topics, developed around what needs to be done in the classroom outside of tutoring. I believe every student learns differently so each lesson will be tailored to the student in hopes that we will find what works best for us after the first few sessions. Lessons will be specific to K-12 typical math levels up to precalculus and college algebra.
