About Steven
Middle to high school I independently sought out opportunities in the sciences such as medical summer camps and science museums. I eventually developed a passion for neuroscience through these opportunities and was able to go to a top university to study it. I come from an under-resourced community so understand the importance of resilience and being in charge of your destiny.

The way the current education system works students learn one concept and never revisit it after taking the exam. My approach focuses on building a strong foundation before moving on to higher-level areas. Repeating practice problems ensure building this strong foundation in order to understand what went wrong and how to improve. My lessons are usually for students in middle and high school. I am also experienced in finding early career opportunities in the sciences for real-world skill learning.
