About Amr

Hello, my name is Amr, I am from Egypt originally and I am a former English A-Level student- and a true enthusiast of English Literature. My favourite books are 'A Thousand Splendid Suns,' and 'Kite Runner' by Khaled Hosseini. To me, English is more than just a subject, but something you can immerse yourself in- whether it be losing yourself in the rich, emotional landscapes of a distant culture or finding universal human truths in the quiet spaces between a writer's words. I am also very skilled with children, having worked with many previously.

About the lesson

I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual needs, whether they are building foundational skills, developing confidence in English, or preparing for exams. Lessons are interactive and engaging, with a focus on clear explanations, thoughtful discussion, exam technique and practical application.

Murphy

He is a wonderful teacher and has guided me through thick and thin. He inspired me to view English not as just words on the printed page, but to appreciate the love that the writers had for this incredible medium. He is constantly seeking to aid others around class whenever they are struggling. I was consistently getting grade 5's and 6's but with his help, I managed to consistently get 8's and 9's further assisting me on my pursuit of attending Oxbridge and the top Russel group Uni's by having desirable GCSE's. If you have Amr as your teacher, just know you're in safe hands.

Amr taught my child GCSE English and helped my child go from a grade 6 to a grade 9. He's very kind and explains conceptual ideas very well.
