About William
I became interested in mathematics as a teaching profession early in my time at college, beginning with doing private tutoring and working at my university as a tutor. I did this for 4 years before completing an internship at Lisa Academy, in which I was responsible for teaching a class for 4 months. By the end of my time at Lisa, data I collected on the class demonstrated that their average grades had increased since I started my internship there.

I’m not only knowledgeable about various math topics, but I am also a very caring and patient teacher, and am passionate about the success of every student I get the opportunity to teach. I spent four months teaching an algebra 2 class during an internship at Lisa Academy West High School where I prepared and taught a full textbook of lessons to a 12th grade class, along with documenting their average improvement over the course of those 4 months via a teacher work sample. The quality of my students’ learning is more important to me than anything else, so I strive to make lessons and explanations comprehensible to students in both their content and their relevance to common problems that the real world presents us.

I have had recently had some trouble in Algebra, when William tutored me and walked me through the lessons, I almost instantly understood what to do. William is a very trustworthy teacher.
William is a trustworthy teacher. He is always there for his students, he makes time for his students even helping past work hours. He really loves math and he always finds a way to incorporate it into everyday activities. He does his best to make math fun for whoever he's teaching.
