About Soubhagya
Hi! I’m Mr. Panda, a passionate and experienced Math educator with a Master’s degree in Statistics and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. Over the past several years, I’ve taught students ranging from middle school to college — including AP Calculus AB, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Precalculus, and Statistics. I currently teach high school mathematics at a private Christian school in Maryland and have previously worked as a Teaching Assistant and Adjunct Faculty at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), as well as a Math Tutor at Sylvan Learning. I believe that every student can be confident in math once they understand the why behind the steps — not just the formulas. My sessions focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple, visual, and logical steps so students truly get it and start to enjoy learning math. With a graduate degree and four years of experience, I specialize in Math, Science, and Test Preparation for middle school through college-level students.
